We used to dream about traveling the world.

Now we plan it.

Hello, we're Chelsea, Matt, Kai (age 5), and Claire (age 1). A while ago we decided we weren't ready to settle down just yet. Instead, we ditched the 9-5 commute and forged our own path.

For two years, we backpacked Europe, working and traveling full-time as a family. Through location independent employment, we gained the freedom of mobility and gave up the comforts of the suburbs. All our possessions fit in our backpacks. Through this experience we learned that collecting memories, not things, is the best way to live.

Now, we’re taking on a new adventure: overlanding the Great American West with two kids!
